Cost = Free!
This summit is our way of serving those who are serving others.
Please note: space for this event will be limited because of local health guidelines,
so we encourage you to register soon.
I have an acute burden for the leaders at the helm. This is a difficult hour to be “the shepherd.” The wolves are circling the pen and we pastors are in need of a fresh soul charge — a fresh vision for this time of trial.
Leadership is romanticized in the hour of ease and it is often forsaken in the hour of difficulty. Our spiritual heroes are not those that shrank amidst the trials, but instead, grew ten feet taller when they encountered the storm. If you are desiring, like I am, to grow taller during this storm, let’s do it together.
— Eric Ludy

Summit FAQs
Will this be like a conference with keynote sessions and workshop sessions?
No. This is NOT a sit and listen sort of gathering. This is a “roll up your sleeves” and “wrangle the bull” sort of gathering. I trust that God will bring the perfect group together and I want each one that comes to actively participate and contribute when here. When you get a whole bunch of leaders together, it’s like sticking a whole bunch of tinder in a burn barrel and waiting for the Holy Spirit to light the match.
Is it okay for spouses to attend?
Sure. However if you are coming with your spouse, we encourage you to find lodging off-campus since our couples housing is limited for this event. Additionally, please have your spouse fill out a separate registration and make a note in the comments section (at the bottom of the registration form) that he/she will be attending with you. There are local accommodations right in Windsor. We recommend AmericInn, Super, and Embassy Suites.
Are women leaders welcome to attend?
Absolutely. However, due to our facility limitations with COVID protocols, we are going to be needing to utilize our space strategically, therefore women are encouraged to find off-campus lodging. Local accommodations close to our campus include AmericInn and Super 8.
What, if any, COVID-19 protocols will be in place for this event?
In order to honor the guidelines and requests of our state and local government, Ellerslie has adopted some specific health and safety protocols for those attending this event. Upon registering, you will receive more information about the specific steps we are taking or you can reach out to our team here with any questions. (Please note — face coverings will NOT be required for this event but you are welcome to wear one if you prefer.)
What if I am a pastor of a home church, my ministry is small/new, or I am involved in youth ministry?
You would be very welcome to join! Our desire is that God would draw leaders to Ellerslie for this event who are deeply desirous to lead well in the dark. If you have a similar burden, we encourage you to participate … no matter how large or small the flock!
Will there be a specific denominational emphasis or leaning at this event?
Ellerslie has always specialized in being a unifying organization for all Bible-loving, Christ-centered Christians. This event will be no different, and we are already looking forward to lifting Jesus high at this event. You can read more about what we believe here.
How will the interactive workshops be structured?
Our plan at present is to hold seven interactive workshops. Each of these workshops will start with a short introduction and then we will divide up into small groups and work through these matters together from a biblical perspective. Each workshop will conclude with a group debrief. Rather than absorb information, we desire to work through ideas together and be strengthened from the perspectives of individual members of the Body of Christ.
Since space in this event is limited, are there any plans to offer this summit in the future?
If there is a significant interest beyond what we are able to host in this first Summit, Ellerslie will definitely consider offering another summit in the upcoming months.
Is there a deadline to register?
We kindly ask that you register on or before August 25th. Space is limited for this event because of local health guidelines and we are expecting registration to fill up quickly!
What are the Ellerslie accommodations like?
The Ellerslie Campus is a prayer-protected sanctuary and we think it a small taste of Heaven on earth! We pray that the set apart environment provides you with deep soul rest. Our guest rooms are dorm-style with bunk beds, open shelving and closet space. Some suites share an adjoining shower with the room next door. Many rooms have lake views. We hope you’ll enjoy your visit with us! Explore our campus here.
How can I get directions to the conference?
The conference will take place at the Ellerslie Campus in Windsor, Colorado located at:
655 Southwood Lane
Windsor, CO 80550
What airport do I fly into? Is there a shuttle service?
Denver International Airport (DIA), which is approximately one hour from the Ellerslie Campus where the conference will be held.
We do not provide transportation for our attendees, but encourage you to book your shuttle through Groome Transportation which will drop you off right at our door!
