At first glance, the issues and inconveniences of COVID-19 make it seem like a nuisance, a pest, an irritant, and a distraction. It’s created a lot of chaos in our world. Right? So how should a godly man look at something as frustrating as COVID-19? It’s an opportunity. In my new video I share how a godly man sees that when things get more difficult, it actually opens up amazing crevices for the Gospel to come in like never before.

How should a godly man look at COVID-19? It’s a nuisance, it’s a pest, it’s an irritant, it’s a distraction. I mean, we could go on and on and all of us have used whatever terms many times. Nonsense. It’s created sort of this chaos in our world. Right? So how should a godly man look at it?
It’s an opportunity. You see, though I would agree with all of you that would be watching this, that it seems to be the opposite … it’s moving in the opposite of the Kingdom of Heaven. And yet, I would say the lens of the godly man sees that when things get more difficult, it actually opens up opportunity. It’s like crevices for the Gospel to come in. And that’s what I would say this is.
Yes, we could look at it from a personal vantage point, from the natural-man vantage point and be frustrated, or we could look at it through the supernatural lens of the Kingdom of Heaven and say, “Lord Jesus, ripen that fruit, that it would be pickable for such an hour as this.” This is harvest time. You see, when the world starts to fray, when the world gets frustrated with its own systems, then God’s system makes more sense. So though some of these things we wonder, “Is this some big conspiracy to hamper and to hinder the flow of the Gospel into the nations?” Maybe. And yet, the very things that the enemy plots and plans to destroy the Kingdom of Heaven end up coming back on his head.
You just need to reference the book of Esther. And remember that Haman had it in mind, and he had a great plan in place to destroy the Jews. And yet, even as he’s constructing a gallows to hang Mordecai, the Jew, on them, the story, the plot line turns and guess who hangs on those same gallows? Haman does. And so, this is the hour which we dream of. Something like COVID-19, though it be frustrating in the natural man’s sense, in the spiritual man’s sense, we should lean in. We should lick our chops and say, “Lord Jesus, show us. Give us wisdom as the Church of Jesus Christ for how we can leverage such a circumstance right here and right now.”
