No Matter What We Face (November 1, 2021)

In this new special twelve-part series, Eric Ludy and Nathan Johnson release one episode a week in preparation for their new series starting January 17, 2022. Throughout these twelve episodes, they explore twelve key truths every Christian needs right now for the times in which we live.

In episode two, Eric and Nathan discuss one of the most profound pictures of triumphant trust unto death—a story that comes from Eric’s summer series “Daring to do as Stanley Dale”. As they discuss God’s sufficient grace, we are reminded that we have what we need for no matter what we face.

Looking Beyond Cultural Chaos (November 8, 2021) In episode three, Eric and Nathan discuss the importance of keeping our eyes and ears upon something greater than the news in these days of cultural chaos. There is an incredible hope and future for those in Christ Jesus, but we need to have eternity “stamped on our eyeballs.”
The Pursuit of Relentless Love (November 15, 2022) In episode four, Eric and Nathan discuss the propensity within culture (and the church) to divide, push aside, and hate (or at least dislike) those who are not like us. Yet we are called to love and pursue those who need Christ in the same manner He pursued us.
The Opposite Response (November 22, 2021) In episode five, Eric and Nathan discuss the remedy for the culture’s bait of despair, discouragement, and fear. Many Christians are looking for the feelings of joy but forget they follow our obedience to God’s command to rejoice always. The Fragrance of the Enemy Kingdom (November 29, 2021) In episode six, Eric and Nathan discuss how fear is the “smell of the enemy kingdom” and how we as Christians should respond to it. In a culture that is locked in the grip of fear and anxiety, it is imperative that Christians not only stand immovable but are also given the tools to practically handle the circumstances and situations of our present day.
The Secret of a Well Kept Life (December 6, 2022) In episode seven, Eric and Nathan discuss the importance of being fortified in our lives. The enemy has many access points to harass us (sin, fear, unforgiveness, and bitterness, to name a few), but a Christian can be triumphant when they know the secret to a well kept life: fortification.
Destroying Distractions (December 13, 2021) In episode eight, Eric and Nathan discuss the variety of things we turn to in times of crisis. For many of us, we turn to ourselves for help or to something that will distract us from the pain and problems. Even good and noble things can become a distraction unless they are placed in their proper order. Throughout this discussion, we are reminded that as believers, we are to make Christ our first turn in every situation.
How to Live Counter-Culturally (December 20, 2021) In episode nine, Eric and Nathan discuss our culture’s obsession with self, especially in this holiday (and ongoing Covid) season. Our natural tendency is to hoard, self-protect, and to think only of ourselves; but Christ is clear, we are to be outward focused, hospitable, and thinking of others more highly than ourselves. And as Eric and Nathan remind us, our only hope of living counter-culturally is to put Christ first in our lives.
Don’t Forget to Remember (December 27, 2021) In episode ten, Eric and Nathan discuss the importance of remembering. We often declare, “I will never forget it!” yet two weeks later can’t recollect what happened or why we wanted to remember it. Many of us don’t heed the biblical command to remember, but if we did, we’d find it to be an essential tool we need in these days in which we live.
Live Triumphant This Year (January 3, 2022) In episode eleven, Eric and Nathan discuss how to practically live the Christian life. While many believers esteem the Christian life, they are not yet living it. In this very practical episode, discover how to move beyond theory and concept into a Christian life that walks triumphantly in Christ Jesus.
 

Going Beyond Boundaries (January 10, 2022)

In the final episode of the series, Eric and Nathan remind us that we should not spend our time thinking about how to live a long life but rather how to spend our lives for Jesus Christ. We are to risk everything, go beyond the boundaries, and hold nothing back in obedience to God’s call in our lives. This is where the rubber meets the road as we die a thousand daily deaths.
