We are in a spiritual battle. And we must remember that it is not our strength, ability, wisdom, or talent that brings victory – rather it is the strength and might of the Lord. We are more than conquerors in Christ Jesus because He has already won the triumph! At the conclusion of our Alumni Conference, Nathan Johnson gave a concluding exhortation about living in the strength, power, and resource of our Victor (Jesus Christ). In this message, the battle and victory of David in 2 Samuel 5 is paralleled with our battle and victory in Jesus (see Ephesians 6:10).
